Celebrating Linsey Erar: PATH Intl. Master Instructor
We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible achievement for MTR’s Director of Programming and Education, Linsey Erar, who has earned the PATH Intl. Master Instructor Certification, the highest professional credential awarded by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH).
Linsey is now one of only 25 active PATH Intl. Master Instructors worldwide, a distinction that reflects nearly 18 years of dedication to the equine-assisted services profession. After achieving her PATH Intl. advanced certification, she completed the extensive requirements for the Master Level designation, including significant teaching and industry experience. As well as a comprehensive portfolio featuring case studies and published literature, a written examination, an oral examination, and evaluation by a panel of evaluators. The process demonstrates mastery in advanced horsemanship and instruction, participant and equine welfare, safety, mentorship, leadership, and the development of other professionals in the field.
“Success is never achieved alone,” Linsey shared. “I am incredibly grateful to my mentors, my family, my colleagues, the remarkable horses I’ve had the privilege to partner with, and especially our participants. They inspire me every day and are the reason I continue learning, growing, and working to provide the very best experience possible.”
This milestone is especially meaningful for MTR. Linsey joins Executive Director Kelly Rodgers as one of two active PATH Intl. Master Instructors on our staff, continuing a tradition of professional excellence that has been part of MTR since our founding.
We are incredibly proud of Linsey and grateful for the expertise, heart, and dedication she brings to MTR every day. Please join us in congratulating Linsey on this extraordinary accomplishment!
